Job Description

Your responsibilities would include:

Assisting the Managing Partner and management team with the creation, development, and implementation of local store marketing programs that build guest loyalty, guest counts, check average, and overall sales.
Building relationships during food and bread runs with businesses, hotels, radio stations, etc.
Helping establish positive and ongoing business relationships with neighboring retailers, hotels, civic groups, etc.
Assisting in all public relation efforts including cooking segments, media releases, and publicity events that promote Ananda.
Communicating frequently with the Managing Partner, management team, and all employees (through Alley Rallies, etc.) about ongoing programs, plans, and results.

Key Responsibilities

The purpose of this position is to build brand awareness and transform that awareness into a sales lead
Attend consumer facing shows to include but not limited to home shows, fairs, festivals, and community events
Interact with event attendees, provide an informative product demonstration, and generate sales leads
Overcome objections by utilizing proven, industry leading sales techniques and training resources
Transport, assemble and disassemble lightweight display equipment and marketing collateral
Submit sales lead at the conclusion of each shift
Responsible for meeting predetermined performance goals for each event as well as other KPIs
Must hold a valid driver’s license
Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor
Performs indoor work in a climate-controlled environment and outside work in varying temperatures and climates

Skill & Experience

High School Diploma or equivalent
Ability to actively listen and rebut objections and/or answer questions regarding the performance or quality of the product
Must have a smart phone to use timekeeping application and submit leads
Must have access to reliable transportation for every scheduled shift
Ability to juggle various work activities and shift their attention from one task to another to meet the demands of different stakeholders without “dropping the ball”
Ability to stand for extended periods of time
Must be outgoing, friendly, and energetic
Ability to engage attendees, obtain their interest and present a quick product demonstration
Ability to work weekends and evenings
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy, team-oriented environment and have a “roll up your sleeves” and “today not tomorrow” mentality
Apply active listening skills through the ability to comprehend information presented and respond thoughtfully
Detail-oriented and can focus on the task at hand, no matter how minute, by finding the most efficient and effective pathway to completion
Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required for communicating with internal and external parties in a manner that is both articulate and professional
Ability to logically connect ideas, scrutinize and evaluate arguments, find inconsistencies and errors in work, solve complex problems, and engage in reflection
Ability to provide timely and empathetic help through in-person, phone, email, and social media avenues that keeps the co-worker or customer’s needs at the forefront of every interaction
Ability to communicate effectively, to recognize, understand, and manage one’s own emotions as well as others, and foster positive working relationships across all levels of the organization
Holding oneself responsible and being self-driven in accomplishing business goals, adhering to policies and being responsible for one’s own actions, performance, and decisions
Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status)
No overtime required
Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 30 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects
